Ken Tai

Ken Tai was born and raised in the south-west of Japan, in Shikoku. In 2000, he moved to France to explore and develop his photography skills. During his time there, he studied graphic design and multimedia, eventually graduating with a degree in design. His professional journey began in Paris as a visual designer, and he continued to build his career across Europe before relocating to Melbourne, Australia, in 2011.

While living and working in Melbourne, he came to appreciate the significance of human-centred design, driven by the values of diversity, inclusion, and effective communication. These insights were shaped by his experiences navigating cultural, linguistic, and ethnic differences in a variety of international settings.

At the core of his design philosophy lies the conceptualisation and visualisation of human interactions and user mental models. His approach places a strong emphasis on innovative problem-solving, leveraging emerging technologies to directly assist people and contribute to a better world. This involves making the invisible visible, ultimately enabling individuals and society to articulate and achieve a shared future.
